Pest control for homes and businesses across metro Atlanta
Max Pest Solutions treats spiders across metro Atlanta by reducing the insects they feed on and treating the harbourage where they shelter. Most Georgia spiders are not of medical concern; we identify what is present before treating, including the two species that are not.
Customized Pest Control Solutions
A wooded acre and a slab-foundation subdivision home need different work. In metro Atlanta we quote after walking the property rather than from a price list, so what gets applied follows what the inspection actually finds.

Most treatments are one visit plus a check. If anything is still active when we come back to your metro Atlanta property, we treat it again - that return visit is part of the job, not a second call-out.
Call Us NowThe overwhelming majority of spiders in Georgia homes are not of medical concern and are in fact eating the insects you would otherwise be dealing with. Two exceptions matter: the black widow, usually found in undisturbed dark spaces like woodpiles, crawlspaces and garages, and the brown recluse, which is far less common in Georgia than people assume – most reported sightings are misidentifications.
Spiders follow their food. A property with a spider problem almost always has an insect problem first, often driven by exterior lighting pulling flying insects toward the walls at night.
Spider treatment in metro Atlanta typically runs $150 to $350 for a standard perimeter service. Most spider problems resolve as part of a general pest programme, because treating the insects they feed on addresses the cause rather than the symptom.

FAQ
Only two are of genuine medical concern here: the black widow and the brown recluse. The great majority of spiders found in homes are of no medical concern and are predators of other insects. We identify what you have before treating.
Spiders follow their food. A sudden increase usually means there is an insect population in or around the structure supporting them, so treating the spiders alone tends to be temporary if the underlying insect problem is left.
It helps a little, and we do remove webbing as part of the work, but a spider will simply rebuild if the site still suits it. Reducing the insects it feeds on and treating harbourage points is what changes the outcome.
Both prefer undisturbed, dark places: garages, crawlspaces, woodpiles, storage boxes, and behind or beneath things that have not been moved for a while. Gloves are worth wearing when clearing those areas.
Applications are placed at harbourage points and perimeter entry routes rather than across open living surfaces. Your technician reviews the label-directed re-entry interval with you before leaving and hands you a pesticide use record listing the product applied, the target pests and any post-application precautions to follow.
Perimeter treatment and harbourage work reduce the population substantially, but spiders re-enter from outside continuously, particularly in autumn. Properties bordering woodland usually do better on a scheduled programme than on single visits.
