This policy explains what Max Pest Solutions collects when you use this website, call us, or exchange text messages with us, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It applies to maxpestsolutions.com and to the service work that follows from an enquiry.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Name and the address of the property to be treated
- Email address
- Phone numbers, including mobile numbers
- What you are seeing at the property, and any access notes
- Records of your service visits, quotes and payments
Information collected automatically when you browse:
- IP address, browser and device type
- Pages visited and time spent on them
- The site or search that sent you here
2. How we use it
- To answer an enquiry and to quote the work
- To schedule, carry out and document a treatment
- To send appointment confirmations, arrival notices and follow-up reminders
- To take payment and keep the records our licence requires
- To improve the website and to keep it secure
3. Legal basis and consent
We collect this information because you asked us to quote or carry out work, or because you agreed to hear from us. Agreeing to receive marketing messages is never a condition of getting a quote or having work done, and refusing them does not change the service you get.
4. Text messages and mobile information
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, and are excluded from every other category of information sharing described in this policy.
Mobile information is shared only with the subcontractors that make the service work, such as the messaging provider that delivers our texts and the scheduling system that holds your appointment. Those providers may use it only to perform that task for us and may not use it for their own purposes.
If you have given us your mobile number we may text you about a quote, an appointment, a technician on the way, or an invoice. Where you have separately agreed to it, we may also text you a seasonal service reminder. You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP, and get help by replying HELP or by calling 404-424-9200. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. The full messaging terms are in section 6 of our Terms of Use.
5. When we share other information
We do not sell your personal information. Apart from mobile information, which section 4 covers, we share what we hold only with:
- Service providers who work on our behalf, such as our payment processor, scheduling software and email provider
- A sister company, where you have asked for work that falls to it rather than to us
- Anyone we are required to share it with by law, a court, or a state licensing authority
Everyone in that list is required to keep it confidential and to use it only for the job we gave them.
6. Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies to remember your preferences, to understand which pages people use, and to measure whether our advertising works. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them, though some things will not be remembered between visits.
7. How long we keep it
Service and payment records are kept for as long as Georgia pest control licensing and ordinary tax rules require. Enquiries that never became a job are kept for two years and then deleted. You can ask us to delete sooner, subject to those record-keeping duties.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including restricting who can see customer records. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.
9. Your choices
- Ask what we hold about you, and ask for a copy
- Ask us to correct anything wrong
- Ask us to delete it, subject to section 7
- Stop marketing email by using the unsubscribe link, and stop texts by replying STOP
Write to info@maxpestsolutions.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for asking.
10. Children
This site is for adults and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Other websites
Where we link to another company’s site, that company’s own privacy policy applies once you leave ours. We are not responsible for what they collect.
12. Changes
If this policy changes we will post the new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the site after that means the new version applies.
